MASKanX™ is a patent pending revolutionary solution to interior partitions. MASKanX™ allows for the use of freestanding and movable wall partitions that can take full advantage of the non impeded interior spans of the MAS™ system. These 100% clear spans allow for non-bearing interior partitions which would not be possible with conventional construction. With the MASKanX™ solution, the home owner can reconfigure the interior to add or remove rooms, re-size rooms or other living spaces in a matter of hours. Three grades (A, B & C) of partition panels are recommended:
- (A) Light weight, easily movable by a single person (homeowner). This panel is foam covered by material with a rigid plastic edge.
- (B) Medium weight, movable by two persons (homeowners). This panel is foam covered by a hard material (poly-carbonate, or equivalent) with a rigid metal edge.
- (C) Heavy weight (300 lbs), movable by two trained professionals. This panel has concrete applied either to foam, or a honeycomb material with a concrete finished edge. Optional metal edge banding may be used.

Movable Metal Stud Wall System: A completed MAS™ system has a clear span, there are no beams or posts to interfere with interior partitions. Although conventional wood stud 2″x4″ inch drywall partitions could be used, a metal stud polyurethane system is often implemented. These Movable Metal Stud Wall Systems are light, easily moved, easily secured and very strong. You could actually move from one MAS™ structure to another and take your partitions with you! The bottom line is that the MAS™ system has NO walls. It can be finished with non-structural partitions which are fast to erect and inexpensive compared with traditional load bearing construction.
