MD (MAS Developer – Project Coordinator): A MAS Developer operates under a contract with MAS which specifies the are and type of projects they can manage. This designation is call “PFAD” and is described below.:
- A specific Project (example: “ABC City low income housing bid #340-16-C”) or;
- A specific Field (example: “Military Bunkers, for ammunition storage”) or;
- A specific Area (example: The Southern Portion of Mexico) or;
- A specific Department (example: US Federal Emergency Management Agency).
Within a PFAD there may be Type Limitations (“T”). For example Company X could request and receive a Level 1 certification for Northern California for residential housing. Company X only wants to use MAS-1300™ (Type R). Company X would have a Level 1 [A-“Northern California”, F-“Residential Housing”, /T-“MAS-1300™ (Type R)”]
A year later Company Y could request and receive a Level 1 certification for Northern California for storage garages (small and large). Company Y would have a Level 1 [A-“Northern California”, F-“Storage Garages”, /T-(Type G)]. Thus Company Y could use a MAS-570™ (Type G) or MAS-1300™ (Type G) for use with storage garage projects.
Contractor) This person/company would have detailed knowledge of the nuts & bolts, tools & forms, construction procedures, etc. to manufacture a structure that uses the MAS™ system. A Contractor MUST hold the appropriate local licensing credentials (Contractors License, etc.) to construct ALL aspects of a MAS™ system. A Contractor MUST work with a MAS Developer and can NOT construct or work on a MAS project without the involvement of a MAS Developer. Many times the MAS Developer and Contractor are one in the same.
Job Site Foreman/Lead – Superintendent: This person would have detailed knowledge in the construction techniques associated with a MAS™ system. A Foreman would typically be a captive employee of a Contractor, however a Foremean could also be a freelance independent worker.
Specialist/Workers (sub-contractors): These persons will have familiarity with one or all of these five specialty areas involved with the construction of a MAS™ system and outlined below. A Specialist Worker would typically be a sub-contractor employed in the trade they are performing, or be a captive employee of a Contractor with experience in the specialty area.

- (A) Form / SPiFolding Setters
- (B) Re-bar Setters
- (C) Concrete Mixer Technician
- (D) Shotcrete Nozzle Operator
- (E) Concrete Stamping / Finisher
*This specialty includes digging (or directing the digging) of the small exterior footing, forming of the footing and pad, installation of re-bar in footing and pad, pouring concrete and finishing the concrete.
