Black Cotton Soil is one of the most difficult sub surfaces to build upon.

A rich proportion of  montmorillonite is found in Black cotton soil from mineralogical analysis.  A high percentage of montomonillonite renders a high degree of expansiveness. These properties result in cracks in the soil without any warning. While it is well known that MAS™ has developed world renowned shotcrete experience, we were still surprised when MAS™ was asked to assist Utah Channel 3 to cover the Pool and Spa convention in Las Vegas this week.
